In 2022, "Bingo", The Cigarettes' debut album and also the first CD in our catalogue, turned 25.

To celebrate, it was remixed from the original ADAT tapes. The new mixes brought out elements hidden in the original version, released only on CD in 1997.

In addition to the 16 songs, 4 other tracks were recorded in the same session and never released now appear on a bonus CD:
    Lautréamont
    Little Puppets
    Folk Song
    Vendetta

The new mixes were remastered by Alan Douches, famous for Olivia Tremor Control, Fleetwood Mac, Xiu Xiu, Motorhead, Animal Collective and other bands.

show I can't stay high I can't stay high I don't know what I've done The cigarette is over My spirit is roll-overing What makes me feel so tired I haven't found my way The streets are going underground You cannot hear a friendly sound For miles and miles away Something that I Know I walked away after the show To see the people come and go But suddenly I felt blind And all the drugs have finished Yesterday on show My dreams are full of bad signs And I don't know to love
2.
we're gonna make a sound I'm dying here And I don't know what is real I'm feeling down And we gonna make a sound Where are you tonight? I need so much your fucking lights And your blondie hair Shining, shining, until the sky This night so lonely And makes me cry I'm feeling down I wanna die I'm feeling down
3.
junk there's something wrong with me there's something wrong with me there's something wrong with me you say to me cos' I take a lot of drugs I take lots of drugs Every day, there's nothing more to say
4.
sweet little darling you can even inside your heart not to have the freedom of who you are but you enchanted me from the start with your smile singing in the park I was crying for the good old days I was crying for the price that I'll never pay When I found you so full of grace Saying to me don't lose faith Sweet little darling Don't go away Keep close to me the rest of your days Sweet little darling There's no price to pay We are only birds flying in the haze We are only birds No one can touch us No one can get us No one Except us
5.
Happiness I cannot go because it's too late I cannot stay cos' I am so tired I cannot smile, I cannot live I cannot, I cannot, I cannot, I cannot I used to crush my toys When I was a little boy and now These things return to me So deep inside Just to make me fly Just to make me fly away From these hard times
6.
The beauty of the day It cannot be this way Can't you see the beauty of the day? It's really gonna be a shame To end a love this way To end a love this way To end a love this way To end a love this way We have so much in common All those nights we spent alone And all the talking we have done Can't be forgotten like you said One day before As a matter of fact we still are so young And we need to have some fun We need to have all the world's fun So much to drink, so much to hide So much to get high We have to take all the drugs that we can't deny But it's all gone wrong Always going wrong But it's all gone wrong Always going wrong
7.
Gap Yeah I love you And I need you I still hold you When I think of you C'mon down Watch the sunrise brings me down My life is not surprising you today Is not surprising you anymore I need you, I don't need you (from Leonard Cohen's song "Chelsea Hotel")
8.
Naturally sad I am naturally sad Maybe the concept is not the best But it's something I've ever had Hey, can you support it? Can you afford it? Can you avoid it? Can't you see? It's unavoidable to me It's unavoidable yeah Good or bad Happy or sad I'll keep on loving you I am naturally glad Maybe the concept is not correct...
9.
Say Goodbye (Letra: Daniela Matera) Say goodbye so much circles in my head when I look inside I feel fine Like a baloon in a daydream But I think that time It was really the end What only to do To play my guitar Swimming too slow Never back to my island Say goodbye When the bird smiles It's hard to cry When one pushes you Just say goodbye Cause after the skin flower Don't have a word to say hi Just say goodbye
10.
fool I think that I would call for you I think that I was such a fool for you Wishing on a star I still don't know who you are
11.
Blues This time I could die I'm so lonely and so tired I've been trying to give a smile But I'm so lonely and so tired I'm trying to stop to say these words I'm trying to stop I'll stop the world I'm trying to stop to say these words
12.
lips 2 I really wanna kiss you one more time Before you go just one more time And feel the pain another time And say goodbye When I see you with other people Crying loudly in the streets All I really wanna do Is give you another kiss I wanna kiss you, aa-ha, a-ha, a-ha, aaaaaaaaa, oh-ho

17.
Latréaumont coming through the door I see your head come through the door there was a special time for us that we don't get any more don't give up stay with us come on boy just let it rock everything will be alright someday once for a little while then we'll have the time to fly to fly so far
18.
sweet smile (letra: daniela matera) all flowers fall around me sun meant too long before I felt cold Like fire blows outside Never find my sad eyes Shine like stars like my little puppets a cat talked a different language tells about your sweet smile mends when you cry, cry your sweet changes your eyes when I say that I love you so much Shine on now, shine on now your sweet smile your sweet smile
19.
Folk song Now I know I can't live this way Now I find what I have to say To myself instead to pray You look so better today You feel even worse You hate the days You just can't You just can't go away Sweet butterfly full of colours Paint me, fuck me, revolve me, around me I'd never need you anyway Just remember the time when you used to say: "And there's always someone that can look you in the eye And there's always something wrong But I still don't know to find..." But I still don't know how to find

about

[ENG]
"Bingo" by The Cigarettes was our first official album, released on CD in 1997. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of our mmcd01, we are re-releasing the album with new mixes and remastered by Alan Douches (Olivia Tremor Control, Animal Collective, Fleetwood Mac).

Colares.

Nenhum plug-in, nada.

A saber.
